Nice crisp morning with loads of fog meant a slow start to flying.
Was a chilly 2 degrees when I got to the field (and only 7 when I left at 11:30 lol)

Second flight was short as I only had the fuel left in the tank (forgot to mix up fuel before I left)

A couple of great flights at the Belconnen club with the guys up there. I always find it takes me a flight to get my eye in and feel out a new flying place and Belconnen was no exception.

Just the one flight today as I forgot to fill up the fuel bottle. Probably better though as it was very dark clouds and hard to see the heli.

A final flight for the weekend at Heli Heatwave ...

Another eight minute flight

Second flight for Heli Heatwave and on the end of the main flight line.

The heli is flying really well and thanks to some positive encouragment from Paul, I pushed myself and performed some manouvres that I haven't done for a while.

So loops, flips, rolls, inverted rainbows and a bit of inverted hovering.

A little hover flight to start my flying at Heli Heatwave at Wagga Wagga.

I leaned the main needle by 8 clicks (half a turn) and it was still nice and rich with a plume of smoke out the back

The heli was flying beautifully, although talking with some of the guys, the main gains could be a touch high

Great morning for flying and a great start to my week off.

Just the two flights today. I rebalanced the clutch and fan assembly on the weekend and this has certainly made a difference. The heli did get some shakes near the end of the flights, but they were no where near as bad as previously.

I leaned off the needle by three clicks and it made a huge difference to the clib outs, but made teh chaking worse, so I richened it back up so it is one click leaner than it was.

Still loving this heli, just need to get more flights to regain my confidence
