Finally great weather for flying and a couple fo great flights on teh NX7
First flight I just flew around for the most of it to see how it was behaving, but then the last couple of minutes I tried some back flips. The slow ones were nice, but I was getting some major engine bogging when I increased the flip rate.I am able to hold my finger on the backplate after flying, so will lean the engine off some more.
I leaned off the main and mid needles by 1 click (and later the main by an additional 2 clicks) for the second flight. I started out similar to the first, but I tried more flips and landed to check engine and leaned the main off some more.
Engine still bogging a bit but could also be collective management.
I am really enjoying this heli. It flies very light in the air and looks nice as well :)

Nigel has been involved in the IT industry for over 35 years, during this time, he has been involved in most facets of the industry. These include, Software engineering and Analysis, networking, software development, PC and server assembly, Systems Engineering.
Outside of his career, his main hobby is Radio Controlled vehicles. Starting in 2002 with his first Nitro car - A Traxxas Nitro Rustler, progressing to 4wd off-road buggies, Helicopters, boats, planes, gliders and most recently, quad copters. He was one of the founding "resurrectors" of the Radio Controlled Off-road track in Morphett Vale, South Australia where he raced for seeral years.
Currently (besides flying planes, gliders and helicopters), he is building a 77" PT17 Stearman based of plans drawn by Nick Ziroli.
