The morning turned out better than expected. It was looking like it was going to be yuck, but it cleared up a bit and by the time I got down to the field it was rather nice (all be it a tad cold)
I had to replace the glow plug before the first flight as it wouldn't glow, so once that was replaced, she fired up nicely.
I videod the first flight, but didn't strap down the camera tight enough, so there was a fair amount of rippling through out the video :(
I reduced the tail gain from 38 down to 35. This improved the tail, but still a small amount of wag.
The second flight was similar to the first (but withouth the video). I reduced the tail gain down to 27 in the end and the tail seems a lot better now. It still has the annoying (random) kick, but otherwise, isn't too bad. Some of the piro stall turns i piro'd anti-clockwise instead of my normal clockwise direction. It felt a bit strange, but not really any different. It was quite fun doing stall turns at each end. Was a bit like being in a half pipe LOL. Only other manouvre was slow figure 8's turning towards myself instead of turning away at the ends.
Flight times were 10.5 and 16.5 minutes. Engine temps were 92 and 112 respectively
