Trex 600n Flight Log - Flight #157

First flight after re-setting up the 3G unit after upgrading the firmware to v2.1.

I had set the gains to 50% (about 11 o'clock on the pots) and spooled up.
WOW.  extremely agile and I had a blast zooming along and doing stall turns etc.  The biggest high light was doing piros.  The only thing that caused the heli to drift was the breeze.  Piro after piro. left and right rotations it was stable as could be.  There was no other stick input required other than rudder input :)

I dialled the elevator and aileron gains back to about 1 o'clock mid flight (did land though LOL) which made it more relaxed flying, even though it was still as quick as before, it was just a little more stable.

The tail is still a huge issue.  I hate it, but I will persist with it.  It's no where near as solid as the spartan was.  Even though the continuous piros were stable, the stops are still bad.  Anti clockwise has a firmish stop with some bounce, but clockwise... about 1/8 to 1/4 of a turn bounce.

Once I have read up on the various settings, I will start playing.

The flight was 12 minutes long and engine temp at the end of it was only 89.
