Didn't think it was going to be a nice day for flying as when I was heading in, I passed through a really heavy rain storm, but thankfully it cleared up (just icy cold winds)
I had two good flights. I had reduced the "Rudder Lock Gain Adjustment" on the 3G control unit as suggested on archeli forums in an attempt to stop the tail wag that I have been unable to get rid of by dropping the gain.
The first flight I was a bit dissappointed as the wag was still there. About half way through the flight, I thought I would bump the rudder gain on the transmitter up a bit. I took it from 20% to 30%. This made a HUGE difference. The tail is so much stronger holding and the bounce when doing piro's is a lot better (almost gone)
I tried a new move today... A forward flight piro. They are so easy with the FBL stabilisation. It is a move that would be a lot harder without the FBL stuff, Mode 2 would be easier than mode 1 too.
The flights were made up of mainly circuits, piro stall turns, high speed turns, lots of piros and some slow turns turning towards me
Both flights were 14 minutes each. Max engine temps were 101 and 107c
