Nice day for flying with just enough breeze to to keep it cool and keep the flies away.

The flights were a bit shorter (6 minutes each) as the heli was developing a vibration that gave it the shakes. It was OK when in normal mode, but as soon as the RPMs increases it would start shaking.

The new tail servo held really well and made the tail quite solid. Now if only I can sort out the other vibes.

Two flights of six minutes each

Unfortunately just the one flight, but thankfully, the heli is undamaged!

Near the end of the flight, I was noticing the tail behaving strangelt, so came in to a hover. The heli was shaking, similar to low head speed with hard head dampers. Switched to normal mode and the vibes went away, but the tail was wagging. Landed, stopped the engine and could hear a motor spinning type of noise. Moving the cyclic controls, they were all fine, moved the tail and it was not moving smoothly.

Result... One stuffed tail servo! :(

One flight of eight minutes

First flight after replacing the engine bearings.

I had to replace the glow plug as it bit the dust.

I richened up the main needle by four clicks and ended up leaning it off by two clicks at the end of the flight.

Just a nice gentle flight with the engine running a bit richer than normal to bed in the new bearings.

Just the one flight today as the dark clouds were making it hard to see the heli.

A very enjoyable flight with flips, rolls, inverted rainbows, figure of eights and just general zooming around the sky!

A couple of great flights on the NX7 today.

Slowly getting some confidence, but struggling to see the heli due to the colours (red/white) Second flight was better as I switched to my non-polarised (white frame) sun glasses.

Second flight was cut a little short when one of the tail boom braces lost a screw and came loose.

Finally great weather for flying and a couple fo great flights on teh NX7

First flight I just flew around for the most of it to see how it was behaving, but then the last couple of minutes I tried some back flips.

The weather was glorious for flying today, despite what teh BOM said it would be like.

I had two flights on the NX7. I am very impressed as at the moment, I am only using about 1/2 a tank for an 8 minute flight, but at this stage I have only done mainy hovering and some circuits.
